Touring
Touring theatre and other performing arts shows in the Orana Arts home region, gives smaller communities an opportunity to view professional arts and cultural presentations, be they performances, installations, exhibitions or community engagement programs. This Orana Arts platform provides for touring within NSW, and potentially internationally—providing professional development opportunities for regional artists and creatives.
Ensemble Theatre Connections (ETC)
Creating Youth Opportunities in the Regions
ETC is the backstage pass to the world of professional theatre.
Ensemble Theatre Connections (ETC) is a bold, new initiative of Orana Arts and Ensemble Theatre to support and develop young, regional theatre-makers from NSW, through mentoring, workshops, and hands-on industry experience.
10 selected participants aged 16-24 years (2 participants from each region) from Dubbo, Griffith, Cessnock, Goulburn and Wagga participate in a structured four-block program focused on performance, conversation, and professional development.
Who is ETC for?
Ages of 16-24 years living in these regions of Dubbo, Griffith, Cessnock, Goulburn and Wagga Wagga, with big creative dreams and a love for all things performance.
When and Where?
Running across four dynamic blocks throughout the year and now underway, the program takes place in the home region of the participants and online, culminating in an immersive theatre and masterclass experience at the Ensemble Theatre in Sydney.
Participants will attend a performance of The Queen’s Nanny in their respective regions and engage in additional learning opportunities from industry professionals such as Mark Kilmurry (Ensemble Artistic Director) and Melanie Tate (playwright of The Queen's Nanny).
If you’re interested in applying for the program in the future, contact Orana Arts Creative Producer, Camilla Ward.
Please note: Camilla’s work days are Monday and Thursday 9-3pm
