Update on CASP Funding for 2026

Dear creative community,

Due to changes in funding, Orana Arts will not be delivering the Country Arts Support Program (CASP) in 2026.

We know this news may be disappointing and how valued CASP is as a practical and accessible way to bring ideas to life. We are incredibly proud of Orana Arts CASP recipients across visual arts, writing and performance in our region.

Consider this a pause.

Like artists and communities, Orana Arts, hasn’t stopped to find ways to create, connect and contribute — even with limited resources.

We are currently exploring ways to offer fast-response, flexible funding opportunities that back ideas from our communities and reflect the identity, diversity and creativity of the Orana.

These opportunities will be shared later in the year.

So for now, stay connected and keep creating

While we through our renewal process, we will continue to open up opportunities where we can, and to make sure regional voices and stories continue to be supported.
