As the arts landscape continues to evolve, we are taking thoughtful, proactive steps to ensure Orana Arts remains strong, responsive, and sustainable into the future. This includes working alongside Regional Arts NSW and Create NSW to strengthen governance, refine strategic priorities, and build a Board that reflects the needs and opportunities of our region.
Board members play an important role in:
• Guiding regional arts investment
• Supporting artists across Western NSW
• Shaping the future of creative communities
A short Expression of Interest form
As part of the Board selection process, we’ve created a short Expression of Interest form to bring everything together in one place. You may have already shared some of this with us. This simply helps ensure we’re reviewing everyone consistently and thoughtfully.
Who we’re looking for
People who care about this region. People who want to contribute. People who bring different skills, perspectives, and lived experience. We are particularly interested in people with experience or skills in:
• Governance
• Finance
• Regional engagement
• Cultural leadership
• Strategic planning
This isn’t just a Board role.
This is a chance to help shape how arts and creativity are supported in the Orana for artists, communities, and future generations. Orana Arts has supported artists and creative communities across Western NSW for more than 21 years. By strengthening our governance and listening closely to our community, we can build a vibrant and sustainable future for the arts across the Orana region.
