Pop-Up Creators is a digital engagement program designed to enhance coding and design skills in Orana region communities. Working with both children and adults, this program enhances confidence and creativity in working with technology and creates pathways to utilise it in future creative projects.
Across the region
If you would like to run a Pop-Up Creators session in your community please contact Shelby via email@example.com
This session introduces primary school students to the basics of coding through OZO Bots with colourful and interactive activities. We use simple and creative ideas to entice young minds into playing with robots and discovering how they work.
This session works with high school students and Arduino Uno kits. These kits use circuits, coding and hands-on building to demonstrate digital possibilities. We will give them a taste of working with code in a practical and creative way.
Working with the Arduino Kits the children looked at the basics of circuits and how to code functions. They also had an opportunity to play with our OZO Bots where they coded with colour.
