2025 Next Step (Round 1) Members’ Grant recipient - Leanne Wicks (Bogee)
Studio Co!Lab member, Leanne Wicks has picked up $1000 for her project Yambuwan Dhuradhu (Using Everything). The funding will allow Leanne to do eco-dyeing workshops and be mentored, in turn, developing her practice and confidence in preparation for a collaborative project for the Cementa26 Festival.
I have been experimenting with these techniques but some one on one teaching will help me to be more intentional about what results I want and give me a broader platform from which to experiment further.
This assistance will impact my career development taking both studio and professional practices to the next level. I shall develop new methodologies and techniques, broadening the platform of sustainability in my creative work.

LEGS25 (Round 1) participants submit their applications to Create NSW
Four Studio Co!Lab members completed the LEGS25 Project Incubator Program with Orana Arts in April. The end goal of this professional development program is to get arts and cultural projects grant-ready. Round 2 of the Create NSW Arts and Cultural Funding Program grants closed on 30 April. Now we wait with fingers crossed.
