Fairview Artspace Mudgee

Fairview Artspace

Committed to cultural enrichment and improved wellbeing.

Fairview Artspace boasts five gallery rooms, which in 2017 will each celebrate and exhibit a different medium. Curator and director Helen Harwood is keen to continue to showcase regional artists, but will still have room for smaller visiting exhibitions.

As part of this initiative, the Cudgegong Claymakers will have a permanent home at the gallery for 2017. This will enable visitors to experience a mix of ceramic styles and practices, and have the opportunity to purchase local makers’ work all year round. The Claymakers will be in the gallery from February 2017.

January will see a transient series of artists’ work, including Phillip Drummond, John Rice, Pamela Welsh, Rhonda Castle, Kay Norton Knight, Kate Kenworthy and Katherine Simms.

The Fairview program for 2017 will also include guided meditation each month during the full moon, paleo lunch, and the return of the popular Yum Cha by Na Lan once a month.
