Orana Arts would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land the Wiradjurri, Gamillaraay, and Weelwin people and pay our respects to the Elders both past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

Regional Arts Australia are consulting with local communities in only TWO locations within NSW. The closest to our region is Bathurst on 30 June from 10am-2pm at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre. Outcomes from the consultation will inform future directions for Regional Arts Australia's work aimed at strengthening regional communities through arts and culture. Faciliated by Anne Dunn, this consultation will explore how the arts and culture for regional Asutralians and consider how the arts intersect with areas such as health, education, environment, tourism, technology, Indigenous culture and economic development. Who should attend? Artists, art and cultural workers, staff and volunteers of cultural organisations and representatives from the creative industries sector, government representatives and departmental staff, community interest groups, representatives from education, health, tourism, environment, technology, economic development, culture and community services.
