The NSW regional city that helped birth Thirsty Merc and The Reels, two of this countrys most successful bands, now launches Original Liberty. Like Thirsty Merc and The Reels, this Dubbo based band presents energetic live performances that consistently attract a strong following along Australias east coast and inland regional areas. Original Liberty first produced their EP single Glow in 2004, which was then followed up with the 2008 release of their debut album Counting Down the Days. The album finds the band strengthening their rock/pop sound with prominent electric guitars, anthemic hooks, in a clean, radio-ready production. The songs lyrics speak of the light and dark moments in life, living with greater meaning and purpose. Their debut single Silent has received significant airplay around Australia, America, South Pacific and other nations. The band was also featured on Channel Tens new music TV program Landed Music. The interview focused on their tours and included the full-length film clip Around we Go Again, from their latest album. Also on MySpace and Facebook.
