The Coonabarabran Area of National Parks & Wildlife Service (the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change) is the venue for the annual Crooked Mountain Concert, an outdoor concert in the Warrumbungles that features a performance focused on environmental issues. Guided walks to Indigenous cultural sites and natural phenomenon are also available. A unique exhibition venue is available at the woolshed, or alternatively the Visitors Centre can also be used as an exhibition space.
