Narromine Christian School

Total enrollments: 28 children. Narromine Christian School (NCS) offers a quality Christian education in the relaxed and comfortable surrounds of a spacious school grounds. NCS offers a Pre-kindergarten Class to help students make a smooth transition into regular school life. NCS follows the Adventist Education philosophy of education focusing on a holistic and well-balanced education for all students. In 2009 the number of students in K-6 was 28 with 2.2 FTE. There are 31 Pre-K students over three days with 1 teacher 0.6 FTE. NCS teaches a values-based education. Students have access to good sporting facilities both here in the school grounds and in the town itself. Students have the opportunity to visit local libraries, museums and attractions for educational excursions. Middle and Upper Primary students are able to attend overnight excursions, such as the National Capital whilst studying Government etc. The school has just recently undergone a facelift to buildings and grounds, beautifying with new landscaped gardens, enhanced sports facilities and freshly rendered and painted buildings. A new purpose-built library/multi-purpose building is due to be completed in the first half of 2010. Year 6 students from this school make a smooth transition on into high school in one of 5 local schools.
