Ken Tucker

Ken is a full-time established professional practicing artist, who also conducts weekly art classes and weekend workshops for students of all ages, from art beginners to advanced levels. Ken is masterful in the use oil, acrylic and watercolour mediums. His candid observations of his surrounds allow him to pursue a painterly dialogue of his visions, both in a traditional realist and contemporary impressionistic manner. His works display strength in contrast, created by his skilful use of the elements critical to his compositions, light and tone. Ken's versatility as an artist is evident in the diverseness of the size and subject matter he engages with, whether it is a landscape, a still life or a portrait Ken�s landscape works have for 3 consecutive years, 2006, 07, 08; been selected as finalist in the prestige Mortimore Art Prize.
