Kathielyn Jobs paintings have been hung in numerous shows from the Zoomin Art Exhibition, Taronga Western Plains Zoo in 2004, to the 2009 Linden Postcard exhibition, Melbourne, as well as regional art shows in Dubbo, Gilgandra, Mudgee, Dunedoo, Canowindra, Bathurst, Coonabarabran and Trangie. Her series of paintings, Behind the Words were hung in the Fresh Arts 08 exhibition, Western Plains Cultural Centre, main gallery; and an imagined landscape was short-listed in the 2008 Art Unlimited Prize. Her work is included in private collections in NSW and ACT. Using bold colour, rhythmically related organic shapes and raw brush marks, Kathielyn's work is focused on the natural world. Her ongoing Difference Naturally Attuned (DNA) series is concerned with the diversity and similarities of all living organisms. Her abstract landscapes represent the indestructible energy, the latent and active forces, of our small planet. You can make an appointment to see Kathielyns work through the above mobile number.
