Born the youngest of the family I spent my childhood in Mudgee playing with nature. I was always crafting something. Whilst living in Tasmania I discovered & studied Metal smithing & Jewellery Manufacture. I was attracted to the permanence of metal & the ability to create pieces of treasure. The production of beautiful jewellery requires manual strength & dexterity, patience & a perfectionist nature. I call myself a Silversmith, as each piece is crafted or smithed individually. I nd inspiration in the historical role of jewellery as body adornment & Talismans. I also pay special attention to comfort & wearability & prefer to make unique pieces for others to wear & enjoy everyday.
