Ellis Campbell

Ellis writes contemporary style bush poetry. He has lived a full life and reflects on his experiences through his writing. Ellis also judges poetry competitions and conducts poetry workshops. Ellis has published six books of poetry titled �Snakes Alive! & Other Verse� (1984) �Nostalgia at the Boundary Gate� (1986), �The Gloss of the Bush� (2000), �Shadows of Yesteryear� (2002), �Eye of the Beholder� and "The Final Muster" (2008) and the most recent publication is "�utumn Collection" (2010). Ellis has also produced a CD "A Selection of Original Verse" containing 15 tracks of old favourites (8 humourous & 6 serious - plus an introduction). Ellis was Runner-Up in the 2010 Australian Bush Poetry Championships in Queensland and also Runner-Up at the NSW State Bush Poety Championships in Dunedoo in March 2010. Ellis also Won the Blackened Billy Written Competition in Tamworth (as part of the Country Music Awards) in 2010. He also Won the Land Newspaper sponsored Henry Lawson Society of NSW written poetry competition at Gulgong in 2010.
