Dubbo South Public School

Total enrollments: 700 children. Dubbo South Public School is the largest primary school in the Western School Education Area. It is one of six primary schools in Dubbo. The school vision is Excellence through quality teaching and parental involvement in a caring environment. The school has excellent facilities, which include well-maintained classrooms, a hall and an undercover area. The school has an excellent P and C which supports the school in many ways. Dubbo South has an excellent reputation based on a vibrant learning environment, and an energetic, enthusiastic, committed and caring staff who provide a wide choice of educational, social, cultural and sporting activities for the approximately 700 students. Special features of our school include the establishment of staged classes across the school, the establishment of identified boys and girls classes, the use of interactive white boards in classes as early as 2003 and a commitment to a learning culture to the extent that our students have a say in day-to-day school routines through of Student Representative Council.
