Crystal Kingdom has a comprehensive display of local minerals and fossils. Sales of gemstone jewellery, mineral and fossil specimens are available. These crystals (in photo below) are found in cavities or seams and range in size from a few millimetres to large crystals up to 180mm long, indicating a very slow cooling of the lava flow.
